Visit Cascade Complex, a monumental stairway and open-air art centre offering panoramic views across the city towards the majestic Mount Ararat. Continue through the elegant district surrounding the Yerevan Opera Theatre, a lively hub filled with parks, cafรฉs and local life.

Evening

Witness the spectacular dancing fountains at Republic Square before enjoying a welcome dinner featuring authentic Armenian cuisine, including traditional grilled dishes, fresh herbs, local wines and Armenia’s iconic freshly baked lavash bread.

Journey into the celebrated Vayots Dzor region, home to Armenia’s emerging wine industry. Visit the village of Areni, famous for producing wine for thousands of years and home to one of the world’s oldest known wineries.
Enjoy a tasting of local wines before continuing to the spectacular Noravank Monastery, dramatically set among towering red-rock cliffs and rugged canyon landscapes.

๐ŸŒŠ Day 5 โ€“ Armenia to Georgia: Lake Sevan, Dilijan & Tbilisi

Visit stunning Lake Sevan, one of the largest high-altitude freshwater lakes in the world. Explore the historic Sevanavank Monastery, perched on a peninsula overlooking crystal-blue waters.

Afternoon

Continue to Dilijan, a picturesque mountain town surrounded by forests and national park landscapes. Often referred to as the “Armenian Switzerland,” Dilijan is known for its traditional architecture, artisan workshops and relaxed atmosphere. Here we will enjoy a traditional mountain lunch.
Cross the Armeniaโ€“Georgia border at Bagratashenโ€“Sadakhlo and begin the Georgian chapter of your journey.

Arrive in Tbilisi and enjoy your first taste of Georgian hospitality with a traditional dinner featuring freshly baked khachapuri and regional wines.

Free to explore more of Tbilisi, visit the magnificent Holy Trinity Cathedral, which towers over Tbilisi, visit the chronicles of Georgia or take a traditional sulfur bath and kisi soapsud scrub.

A free evening to enjoy Tbilisi by night ,maybe catch the cable cat to Mtatsminda Park to enjoy sunrise or listen to tradition music whilst sampling local food and wine.

Morning

Visit Mtskheta, Georgia’s ancient capital and one of the country’s most important religious centres.
Explore UNESCO-listed Jvari Monastery and Svetitskhoveli Cathedral, both central to Georgia’s Christian heritage. Wander the winding streets withย  wine ice cream.

Afternoon

Travel along the spectacular Georgian Military Highway, one of the Caucasus region’s most scenic routes.
Stop at Ananuri Fortress overlooking the turquoise waters of the Zhinvali Reservoir before continuing through alpine landscapes and dramatic mountain passes.
Enjoy a delicious local lunch and take part in a culinary masterclass, learning how to prepare Khinkali, Geeorgia’s beloved dumplings.

Spend the night in Stepantsminda beneath the towering peaks of the Greater Caucasus Mountains.

Return to Tbilisi for leisure time. Enjoy shopping, independent sightseeing, cafรฉ culture or a traditional sulfur bath experience.
